La restauraci\u00f3n fue financiada por el gobierno griego y tard\u00f3 varios a\u00f1os en completarse. El proceso de restauraci\u00f3n consisti\u00f3 en reparar y sustituir los asientos de piedra originales, restaurar la zona del escenario y mejorar la ac\u00fastica del teatro.
